Live and Virtual Art Exhibits
SOULSTICE
Thank you for your interest in being a featured artist during SOULSTICE.
We're excited to be organizing Hampton Roads' first homegrown VR art exhibit on June 20, 2026. Before we move forward, please review the following terms of participation.
Artwork Submission. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces for display including paintings, drawings, photographs, textiles, mixed media, digital art, installations, and more with preferred themes around identity, community, futurism, and creative innovation.
The deadline to submit is April 30, 2026 via our Call to Art form. By submitting, you confirm the work is your original creation and you hold full rights to it. If you work primarily in tangible or physical mediums and need help converting your work into a digital format, please reach out to us at connect@soulstice757.com. We're happy to assist.
Selection Process. We will select 30 artists to be featured at SOULSTICE Live and in SOULSTICE Digital with notifications provided by May 15, 2026. Space permitting, we will accept additional artists to showcase their work in various capacities.
Rights and Usage for Accepted Artwork. You retain full ownership of your work. By participating, you grant Wise Media Studios a limited, non-exclusive license to display your work in the SOULSTICE Live exhibit and in SOULSTICE Digital, our post-event virtual museum, which will be available through September 22, 2026.
Attendance for Featured Artists. In-person attendance is encouraged but not required. If you're participating remotely, we'll display your preferred contact information at your exhibit so interested guests can reach you about commissions or connections. Artists who attend in person are expected to be courteous, well-presented, and open to engaging with guests and fellow artists.
Panels with Featured Artists. Panel discussions on art and technology will be part of the evening. Volunteer opportunities will be extended to featured artists in late May. Participation is entirely optional.
Sales for Featured Artists. You are welcome to sell physical and digital prints at your activation table. You keep 100% of all sales. SOULSTICE does not take a commission.
Withdrawal of Featured Artists. If you need to withdraw after being accepted, please notify us at connect@soulstice757.com by May 31, 2026.

When is SOULSTICE?
The event is currently planned for June 20, 2026 to align with the observation the summer solstice, a re-activation of creative energy, and Juneteenth Weekend, a testament to legacy.
Where is the venue?
We are currently working to secure a venue location in Hampton Roads. Rest assured, we are connecting with the region’s best in social events, art advocacy and VR experiences.
Will there be food provided?
We hope so! We will be working closely with a selected venue to determine food options. We’re hoping to offer space for snack vendors and food trucks.
How do I become a featured artist, speaker, performer, or event sponsor for SOULSTICE?
That’s easy - just fill out the interest form below and we’ll reach back within 48 business hours.
How can I submit my artwork as a featured artist?
You’ll provide a digital copy of your work in one of the designated file formats that will be uploaded into the VR museum environment. Plus, your creative information to be included on the artwork’s nameplate. We do not claim nor contend any rights to your artwork as a participant in SOULSTICE.
How does the virtual museum work?
That’s somewhat of a secret that we’ll talk through at SOULSTICE Live. It’s powered by Unreal Engine.
What’s the difference between attending SOULSTICE in person and attending virtually?
Our SOULSTICE Live experience will allow guests to collaborate with other creatives, shop, and enjoy the virtual museum in real-time. VR equipment will be available on-site for optimal engagement.
SOULSTICE Digital is a bit more flexible with guests able to appreciate the exhibit and learn more about the featured artists on their own time. We are currently planning to provide access via the App Store and Google Play Store. A headset will not be required but is encouraged for optimal engagement.

Can children attend SOULSTICE?
This event is primarily for adults and may feature art with some challenging themes. We will provide official guidance once we secure a venue location.
When will tickets become available?
Tickets for SOULSTICE Live are scheduled to go on sale on May 1, 2026 at 10 AM EST.
SOULSTICE Digital will be available for download on June 20, 2026 for a limited time.
